The annual ARTDONATION poster contest dedicated to World Blood Donor Day has chosen the theme "Self-Care" for this year. This theme inspired me to create a concept where the main symbol is a flower.

A flower is a delicate yet strong symbol that perfectly reflects our health. To keep this fragile flower in good condition, it is necessary to constantly care for it. Similarly, our health requires continuous care so that we can be resourceful and help others throughout our lives.

To maintain good health, it is important to follow simple but essential rules: get enough sleep, take walks in the fresh air, stay in the moment, listen to favorite music, engage in hobbies, and meditate. Everyone has their own list of activities that help them restore their energy, but the common factor is that taking care of ourselves gives us more opportunities to help others.
My poster with a flower conveys this important message: only by taking care of our health can we become true donors for others, giving them not only blood but also a part of our life energy.
For the illustration, I chose a combination of delicate, hand-painted textures and digital tools. This allowed me to convey the idea of self-care through working with textures. The combination of traditional and modern art methods symbolizes the harmony between nature and technology in supporting our health.
