About the project
This illustration was created as a commission for a small brand specializing in succulents. The idea was to design a postcard that accompanies client orders, bringing a piece of the botanical garden experience to each customer. I combined hand-made textures with digital collage to reflect the brand’s natural and authentic spirit.

Mood & Inspiration
The inspiration for this project came from the owner of the brand herself and her succulents. I was fascinated by her image, the flowers, and the unique shapes of the plants. To capture the atmosphere, I collected photos from her greenhouse, which later became the visual foundation for the illustration.

Hand-drawn Textures
I started by painting textures with traditional materials. This step added authenticity and organic feeling to the future digital collage.
Creating live textures

Next, I digitized the textures and combined them in Procreate. This step allowed me to construct the composition, where each element found its place around the central figure.
